Germany: ‘Sex Meters and anti-Semitism!’

Yesterday, two German news caught my attention.

First – Bonn government said on Monday that the “sex tax” covering levies on sauna clubs, “erotic centres” and automated pay stations similar to parking meters that were rolled out in August had brought in around 250,000 euros ($326,000) last year.

The former West German capital became the first city in Germany to introduce the meters for sex workers as a means of extending a general tax on prostitution beyond brothels to the streets of Bonn. Some 200 women are believed to occasionally work the streets in Bonn, with an average of 20 out on a given night.

Second – German Bundestag (parliament) appointed committee of ‘experts’ released its 208-page German-language study findings the other day. The study which shows that 20% of Germans still hate Jews. The timing of the release of the study came quite handy for the pro-Israel Jewish groups celebrating the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27.

The study found that at a very young age, German schoolchildren are already using the word “Jew” as an insult. And “Jew” is commonally heard as a curse word in the playground. In local soccer league throughout Germany, anti-Semitic jeers aimed at Jewish teams are common, including “Jews to the gas“, “Bring back Auschwitz” and “Burn the synagogue“, the report found.

The study criticized the way Germany deal with Jew-hatred. “There is no comprehensive strategy for fighting anti-Semitism in Germany,” says Dr. Julliane Wetzel.

The study ignored the fact that German Chancellor Angela Markel is the most popular foreign leader in Israel. In Germany, challenging the story of “Six Million Died” is a crime punishable with three-year in jail. The display of ‘Swastikas’ is banned in Germany. Publication and selling of Hitler’s Mein Kampf is banned in Germany since 1945.

However, to the great disappointment of the Jewish Lobby, the study did not blame over three million German Muslims for ‘skin-deep’ Jew-hatred’. The study also has some conforting tone – “Jewish hatred is worse in Poland, Hungary and Portugal than Germany“.

German anti-Muslims feelings have always hit the Zionist-controlled mainstream media. However, the truth comes from “German politician Klaus von Dohnanyi who believes Muslim immigrants are more devout than Germans. Others admire their family values. Turks who celebrate loudly and raucously after their team has won a football match are praised for their national pride. We even grudgingly acknowledge the willingness of suicide bombers to sacrifice their lives. Our own population seems lazy, indecisive, fearful, spoiled and endlessly demanding in comparison,” as reported by German daily SPIEGEL on August 26, 2011.
