'Around 300 fans of the separatist Quebec Resistance Network are expected to demonstrate outside City Hall when the royal couple gives a visit to the capital as part of their Canadian tour, group member Julien Gaudreau revealed.

Gaudreau claimed that the Resistance Network would “commit pacifist acts of civil disobedience” on July 3, to express their opposition against the amount of money being paid by the Canadian taxpayers for the event.

He stressed that the majority of Quebecers have not been in favor of the British Monarchy, accusing the federal government of carrying out a “propaganda campaign” to encourage positive attitudes among the Canadians right before the royal visit.'
