I wasn't able to get the video to play but I read the article. I am glad he was on The View and got his message out there. I think too many people just sit around taking for granted that our government is honest with us. While I don't have any particular conspiracy theories, I think the...
I am on a county run health plan and when I can get in to the doctor I get decent care. The problem comes when I need a special test or have to go to the emergency room as that is not covered. I think it does all depend on the insurance company.
I don't mind people breastfeeding in public, what I do mind is that a lot of breastfeeding mothers are not at all discreet. I can't tell you the number of times I have walked past a breastfeeding mother and she's got her breasts out for the world to see. I'm just saying throw a blanket over you...
Wow,to think somebody would try to use mind tricks on a politician. Politicians are pretty skilled manipulators, you would think they would have caught on before it got too far.
I tend to agree. In third world countries, it is survival of the fittest. The weak and helpless will be culled naturally without any need of help. What worries me is the population growth in industrialized nations.
I have not had the financial ability to travel very far from home, let alone overseas. However, if the opportunity presented itself I would not turn it down. I have a friend who has been abroad in the Middle East as an English teacher for years and has had no problems.
Retired salesman, George Ouellette is still working hard 40 years after his retirement. At 84, he spends his days scouring parks, roadsides and even garbage cans to return for the deposit. When he collects $250 he writes a check to Operation Smile to help a child in need get a cleft lip/palate...
I can't even begin to say how excited I am to see people in these countries standing up for themselves and demonstrating peacefully (or attempting to anyway) for change.
Israeli man Yuval Roth started a volunteer organization called On the Road to Recovery to help sick Palestinians get from the West Bank to Israeli hospitals after his brother was killed by Hamas. He wanted to channel his anger into something positive. He and his 200 volunteers have helped...
I would probably have said no a few months ago, but then I watched this worst case scenario documentary about how easily a global pandemic could wipe out most of the population. I also agree that the world is pretty unstable and Boy Scouts are pretty darn smart.
I can't say that that study surprises me at all. At the very least, hundreds of people probably touch those trays every day. Unfortunately, not everybody is as studious about hand washing as I am. I have seen studies that say our telephone probably has as many bacteria as a toilet seat too.
In the early 90's a groundbreaking prenatal surgery for the crippling disease spina bifida started to become popular. It did cause some problems such as premature deliveries so researchers wanted to test it against postnatal surgery. Collaborating with surgeons across the country, researchers...
I think he is smart as well, not jumping into a war or "peacekeeping" mission in Egypt, but instead letting the Egyptians try to work it out on their own. Jumping in to get rid of dictators in the part of the world hasn't worked out so well for us in the last decade.
I am glad that they finally convicted somebody in this case, let's just hope they did get the right guy. I just don't put much stock in jailhouse rumors of he said, she said. There isn't any other viable evidence that really ties him to the crime other than that.
