    Faith vs. Organized Religion?

Faith is believing. Religion tells you what to believe and how to believe it and defines the rituals to go about proving that you believe it. Faith doesn't need any of that. Faith simply is.

    Paranoia

For all the paranoid, the pessimists, the doomsdayers, the gloomy Guses out there, remember: It's not paranoia if they really are out to get you.

    Kids Caring for Other Kids

Was the 14 year old acting irresponsibly, or was it just the fact that the sitter was 14? How old does the UK want kids to be before they are allowed to babysit? I know of responsible 12 and 13 year olds who babysit for unrelated kids here in the US, and even younger ones who care for siblings.

Witnesses Saw People 'Vaporized' on 9/11

With the amount of jet fuel in there and temperatures hot enough to melt steel, human flesh didn't stand a chance. It's not surprising that people would have been burned instantly.

    Police Brutality?

We have city police and county sheriffs. The county sheriff is elected, but the police chief is hired. The sheriff's officers are quite well behaved, while the city police will turn on their sirens just long enough to get through a red light or to pass a line of slow traffic. It really ticks...

Overpopulation may be as much of a threat as global warming.

Population tends to control itself, especially in third world countries where the kids without enough food and water don't survive to reproduce. Any given area can only sustain a certain population density, and once that density is reached (or exceeded) nature will take care of the extras.

    Asteroid's threat.

There was a near miss not long ago. Didn't they try diverting that one? Pardon my ignorance about such recent history, but all I remember was that they were worried about it and then it didn't hit us.

‘No one told her to go there’: Now FEMALE pundit lays into Egypt sex attack victim Lara Logan and ‘animal’ protesters

The response is harsh, but the reporter did know (or should have known) what type of environment she was walking into. If you pull the lid off of a beehive you run the risk of getting stung.

    A Corrupt Government!

It's hard to know where to start. There is so much wrong, at so many levels, from mayors squabbling with their own city councils to state mismanagement of funds to the federal mess. How does one person start to make a difference?

    Target Areas?

If another country were to target the US with WMD, which cities do you think they would target? Here's my top 5 list, in order: 1. Washington, DC. 2. New York, NY 3. Los Angelos, CA 4. Chicago, IL 5. Dallas, TX

    Necessity of a Survival Kit?

We have first aid kits in the car, food in the freezer, and firewood in the shed. Anything on a larger scale than that will be more than I could prepare for myself anyway.

Forget CO2, US Debt “Causes” Warming

Government needs us to be in a state of crisis so we are dependent upon them. If we could get along without them, we wouldn't need them. So, they create any sort of crisis so we will do whatever they ask. The more they want to ask for, the bigger their crisis needs to be.

What does 2012 mean to you?

I think something will happen sometime, and 2012 would be just as likely as any other year. It's already been 10 years since 9/11, and it's incredible that nothing major has happened in that 10 years. When something does happen, if it is during 2012, then everyone will say "Told you so!"

    No explanation

Have you tried setting up cameras to watch when the lights are going on and off? Often cameras can see things that our eyes can't.

How to stop absorbing other peoples energy

It is so much harder for me in a crowd, because not only is there more negative energy, but it is hard to figure out where the negative energy is coming from. When I protect myself from the negative energy, I also shield whatever positive energy is working in my favor. It's a tough balance to...
