FRESNO, California – Two Indiana Police Officers are facing disciplinary action for using a taser to subdue a 10-year-old boy.

Police were called out to a daycare in Martinsville, because the boy was acting out of control. Police say a captain slapped the child when he started kicking, fighting, and swearing at them. Then another officer used his taser on the boy. Investigators are now reviewing their policy for taser use.

Investigators say officers have in car cameras and lapel cameras on their uniform … but they’re still checking to see if there is video. The officers have been put on paid leave for now.

The city’s mayor says he expects more disciplinary action to be leveled against the officers at a city meeting next week.
