Distractions? Whats your thoughts..?

Some people do anything for their 5 min. of fame. Even risking their own jobs.

Too bad that society has come to this, Why does nearly everyone want to be on tv?? Whats the big deal?

I think it's about fame, the glory of being seen is just surreal to these people. It gives them a major ego boost. And of course, the money. To become famous usually comes with money (or so they believe). It's sad really.

It is sad, being famous doesn't necessarily mean money for the dude in Miami, wonder if he still has his job.

Fame doesn't necessarily bring money some cases like the school bus monitor, but she didn't seek it out on purpose, for the dude in Miami, wonder if he still has his job? Sometimes it backfires on you.

I for one think that being famous would drive me insane. All those people constantly going insane for you, and pretty much thinking you are God. No thank you! Oh and don't forget you have to make sure that you constantly look perfect, and if makeup and clothes can't make you perfect, you have to go under the knife to keep yourself looking young.

We should be celebrating old age and wrinkles, what difference does it make the we look, we are on the inside not the outside.

Are looks are constantly in flux throughout her entire life anyways, so why fixate on them and try to hold onto it.

I agree with you 100% looks are only superficial is how we treat others and what we are on the inside that really counts.

Yep. We should embrace who we are and what we look like. The distraction of the tv, celebs, the media, tells us otherwise. And it has lots of people distracted. I broke free from that years ago now. I don't let the social pressures distract me anymore.

Same here never was too interested in celebs personal lives anyway, I believe we pay them to entertain us and that should be enough of celebs

Not exactly on topic, but close, once I was impressed by designers and their labels now I don't give a rats behind.
