WAGENINGEN -
Bees in November were still active. Researchers at Wageningen UR in recent months saw many bees flying around with pollen on their legs.

Normally they sit in the penultimate month of the year already in the closet. This Sunday they have indicated through Natuurbericht.nl.

The pollen is food for the larvae. It was the pollen of white mustard plants.

Usually there are few plants in bloom in November and there is no pollen available, but this mustard plant blooms in winter. Farmers use the crop as a soil improver.
