I wonder why, did they find out they are extremely hackable?

This is what the narrowed the RFID portion of the episode to:
MythBusters RFID Chip:

Interesting that VISA, Mastercard, etc., are all involved with the discussion of the RFID chips, huh?

It also seems obvious to me that every one of the cards that these companies put out (including debit cards), HAVE the chips in them, and they are EXTREMELY hackable.

I think Mythbusters tested them anyway, but of course are not allowed to air that stuff. At least I HOPE they did!

In other words these majors corporations invested a lot of money in the RFID chip and they're afraid that if word gets out how easily easily hackable they are people will not be interested in using them. The fact the matter is you are not safe if you're storing any of your information anywhere you don't have control over. The RFID chip gives all your information and all the control to the company has information. It basically makes you helpless. I'm sure the people at mythbusters now know there is a big brother situation going on, I betcha this situation changed all their lives.

Guaranteed it changed their lives. Well, I really really hope they woke up to the "hey, wait a minute, there's something bigger here". If they didn't, they're probably full on mind controlled.

You know these guys tried hacking the chips, just not publicly. If they didn't, they should. These guys have a perfect opportunity to expose these corporate enslavers, but, once again, we find the "i'm too afraid. I don't want to lose my job" mentality.

They got a good thing going, no one wants to rock the boat. Discovery Channel is their employer, and their employer would be at risk of many lawsuits. Especially since Visa and MasterCard probably advertise on the Discovery Channel's networks.

Now if only we had a way to protect people who discover potential risks other humans especially with their personal information from major corporations

True. And god forbid someone step out of line. Once the money thing goes down the tubes, then people won't have to worry about that shit anymore.

With out money there is no penalty for stepping forward and telling the truth and they know it.

That's for sure. So, what are we waiting for, lets get rid of this money thing already. Then, people like the Mythbusters can be straightforward with the ACTUAL results of their experiments, and not hide truths like this.

It's good to take some major for people to give up their love of money. Just mean you telling them is in the work.

Well, if they come across enough of these things where they are told not to look at it, maybe it'll make them think enough to change their minds on it. One can only hope.

They already have but it's going to take something major and a majority of people waking up these people to follow suit. But as a celebrity they have more reach and more power awake more people up than we do.

ye a people might look at you indisbelief and tune you out because they feel that it might be the other way around...

i actually look back in the bible days with jesus and how they treated him is simmilar to today really.. just minus the technology.. he tried to warn and tell pople about love and goodness and how the roman govt is not right but instead of listening to him they sentenced him to death... same o thing really...people would be brainwashed to put someone whos trying to help humanity in jail or sentence him to death instead of listening to him.. what is it going to take for a change??

well i know that im doing my job here.. spreading as much love and peace as i can one person at a time.. :)

Interesting they made the first video unavailable, the account has been terminated because of multiple third party notification of copyright infringement. Ah, will you look at that one of the complaitents was Viacom, the other Fox News?? hmmmm...
Very questionable behavior by Visa, and Mastercard. Wonder what other practices Visa and Mastercard pursue upon their customers.
I have heard of Verichip mentioned on Coast to Coastam Katherine Albrecht talks about the RFID chips, when she's on the show.

Hi, I'd like to see it but I don't know if its compatible to this netbook computer. I don't have the newest version of flash and I don't know what WMV is.

Agreed, the corporations only care about one thing, and that's how much more money can I get, then the competitor. None of them really care about the consumer (people) they only care about (pun intended: What's in your wallet?) Couldn't resist the catchphrase from Capitol One. Speaking of which did you hear Capitol one is in trouble and may have to pay so much money back to their customers, seems they talked them in to services they didn't really need.
