Whats up with this.
That the owner/s, admin/s, mod/s, maybe other/s whom had a enough of running it and sale to someone else or even worse a company. At the same time do understand that they do have lifes offline as well and etc. That force them in that position. That was the case on another forum that I belong to, but left a long time. There are times when I go back there, lurked there, have quite a few that I used to belong to, etc. Basically, theres was a thread concerning about spam on the site and in one of the replies one of admin/s or mod/s typed that. Heres my response to that thread 2nd everything that I quoted posts here (which I can't posted the quoted parts here because its invasion of privacy or whatever its called). As for me I don't even prefer these kind of run forums. Basically, somehow always had horrible experiences on them and etc. That also goes for the ones that I prefer kind of run forums. Stopping here because I could go forever with this.
