I find this article fascinating because I can look out the window now (well if it wasn't night time right now) and still see tons of haze in the air here where I am, we had a massive dust storm in Cairns lasting several days of very intense red dust (burning sensation in throat when inhaled)
3140 kilometers away from Sydney which was also in the 'Great Dust Storm'.
This thing was on a scale like nothing else I've ever seen.
Did you Melbourne people experience it too? That would mean it spanned the entire continent!
Russian scientists are reporting that the southern hemisphere continent of Australia has been coated by red “dust” from our Planet Earth’s first interaction with the tail of the Comet known as NEAT (C/2002 V1) in an event not seen in our modern times, but known in depth by our most ancient of peoples and called by them the “Blood of God”.
