Movie from the 1980's by John Carpenter "They Live"...shows aliens living among us...

Nada, a down-on-his-luck construction worker, discovers a pair of special sunglasses. Wearing them, he is able to see the world as it really is: people being bombarded by media and government with messages like "Stay Asleep", "No Imagination", "Submit to Authority". Even scarier is that he is able to see that some usually normal-looking people are in fact ugly aliens in charge of the massive campaign to keep humans subdued.

I think Carpenter was way ahead of his time or just knew more than most in the 1980's.

I love this movie. It is so true to how things are out there. Well, that is to say, with the messages of "Stay Asleep", "Obey", etc. I'm not sold on the alien part, but I do believe it shows quite accurately how the elite are and that they at least consider themselves to be different from the rest of us.

If you haven't yet seen this movie, you should sit down and watch it. Yes, I am aware that Roddy Piper isn't the best actor, but the story is great. On a side note, Roddy Piper was pretty cute back then. Well worth the time invested to watch.

Replace aliens with the elite or the Illuminati. They have to make a movie interesting so they put an interesting villain which just so happens to be aliens.

The aliens are representative of fill in the blank with whatever evil group, company or entity that you wish!

It is a great movie especially when your first waking up. But you got to look for the symbolism behind the things they say and do. A great movie to point out the reality of our world!

Yes, it is a great movie with piss poor acting, but once you get past the acting and watch it a couple of times, you really get the feel for what's going on here.

And why can't it be aliens? It may very well be. We don't know. There sure are aliens living among us, we just don't know who they are. So we speculate that the Illuminati may be evil aliens, cuz after all, why the hell would humans, being the naturally kind creatures that we are, be THAT evil and want to harm humanity?

Aliens or not, the aliens in the movie ARE symbolic of the elite and the Illuminati.

Here's a great quote from the movie, he walks into a bank with a shotgun and says:

"I came here to chew bubblegum and kick gas and right now I'm all out of bubblegum"

...and then there's this line:

"You, you're all right, you real fucking ugly!"

Great movie to get you thinking about something other than this reality.

There is another good line in the movie:

"You, you're all right... You, formaldehyde face!"

You guys make me laugh. I LOVE those lines! So funny.

But the fact of the matter is, what's happening there is true. Those hilarious lines just make it easier to watch the story. Without them, it'd be boring. So don't get too swept away with the hilarity. It's a serious thing that is happening right now in front of our own eyes and we are blind to it. Well, most people are blind to it and see it as normal. It's not normal, it's far from normal.

The only put those lines in there because he was a wrestler. Those are the kinds lines you always heard on WWF wrestling!

Yes, but otherwise the movie wouldn't be as funny! They need that corn to make it a little more interesting and playful.

Even for a wrestler, he could've delivered that line in the bank better about chewing bubble gum and kicking ass. lol.

This is just another one of those movies that's a good metaphor for what's going on with the global conspiracy. The Matrix even possibly Equilibrium are also great movies with this kind of underlying message. another movie I keep seeing talk about so much in the conspiracy world is "Eyes Wide Shut", but I've never seen it.

It MUST have a great message of what's going on in this world if they took it off their servers! All the more reason to go and find it and watch it!

Anytime they remove something like that, it's usually because people have caught on to it being the truth and are talking about it too much!
