It has been announced that two bodies have been pulled from the Algo Center Mall roof collapse on Wednesday, July 27, 2012 but their names have not been released to the public. Family members have been contacted and since I'm a family member of one of the victims I thought I would post the name of this victim here.

One of the victims was my Aunt Dolores Perizzolo (Dumas) wife to the late Giuseppe Perizzolo and the other victim I'm assuming is Lucy Aylwin but I cannot confirm that at this time. Although this is the most likely other body. Below I've posted the news article announcing that they pulled the two bodies from the mall.

May my aunt and Lucy rest in peace.

The first victim was removed early Wednesday from the Elliot Lake site and another located hours later. Neither name has been released

“It’s a very big miracle [the collapse] wasn’t more devastating,” Staff-Inspector Bill Neadles, who is heading up the Heavy Urban Search and Rescue operation, told an early afternoon briefing in Elliot Lake. “There were 26 people in the food court. There was people who had just left the lottery terminal, three seconds [earlier].”

Although there had been a large and fluctuating list of missing people, police stressed from the outset that some of them could have been nowhere near the Algo Centre Mall when it collapsed Saturday. On Wednesday, a senior Ontario Provincial Police officer noted that two names remained constant every time the list changed.

“I believe there is no one else in there,” Staff-Inspector Neadles said.

I'm sorry for your loss Rumas, the world is grieving with you. I only hope that justice is served and the people responsible are held accountable for allowing people into a building that was known to be unsafe.

Sorry for your loss Rumas. :( I can't imagine what you must be going through right now.

I hope the people responsible get what they deserve. It's a shame that any of this was allowed to happen the way it did.

Just an update, yesterday, July 4th 2012, the funeral was held for Doloris. Over 300 people were in attendance at the church for the service. She was well loved, and will be greatly missed.

There is a memorial scheduled for Lucie Aylwin on Monday July 9th from 4pm to 8pm at Collins Hall (in Elliot Lake). I'm sure there will be many in attendance for Lucie as there were for Dolores.

If I could have been in Elliot Lake for the funeral yesterday I would have been. Also, I would love to travel up there for the memorial service for Lucie, but I don't think that will be possible.

My deepest sympathies go out to all who were affected by the tragic loss of their loved ones on that June 23rd afternoon. And while not directly related to either victim, I am an in-law down the line a little to Dolores, and for me, especially being a psychic and an empath, that's a close enough connection for me to feel the loss and wish to be there for the families.

Doloris, Lucie, you are greatly missed. You know all this now, you're at a point where it is all obvious. You will NEVER be forgotten; not in Elliot Lake, and not anywhere else either. Your deaths, although unfortunate, will serve a greater purpose when it comes to helping others in their time of need in the case of another disaster. You did not die in vain. Your deaths WILL serve a purpose for the future and make this world change for the better.

RIP, Doloris Perizzolo, and Lucie Aylwin.

Close to 1,200 people were in attendance at the memorial service for Lucie Aylwin last Monday, July 9th. She was well loved by the community and was described as very loving, very fun and friendly and always there to help people. From the turnout, I'm not surprised. She will be greatly missed by the community of Elliot Lake, but she will be missed most of all by her fiance and "soulmate" Gary Gendron and their dog Koby.

It will take this town a long time to get over the untimely deaths of these two ladies, Doloris and Lucie. They will not be soon forgotten, neither will the event that shook the community and stirred the entire country.

As I posted just now in the other thread regarding this tragedy, I will be gathering more information shorty and posting what's been going on over the last year with the hearings and investigations and such.

Dolores Perizzolo (Dumas) and Lucie Aylwin are gone but not forgotten. These women would not have lost their lives if people would have done their jobs instead of just passing the buck. The deaths of these ladies are on many peoples' hands, and now we wait to see who will pay for their lives. Nothing will ever make up for what was done, but as long as we keep their memories alive, they will always be with us.
