Last night, in several capitals of Brazil, thousands of people took to the streets to express their outrage about the current situation faced by the country. The list of demands was varied, ranging from the price of bus ticket, until combat to corruption. Brazil currently hosts a international sports event (FIFA Confederations Cup) and will be the next to host the FIFA World Cup (2014) and Olympic Games (2016). However, spending directed at these events are extremely criticized because they could be reverted for the most important sectors, such as education and health.
