Lockheed Martin gets $145M contract from EPA

ROCKVILLE, Md. – Lockheed Martin Corp. said Monday it received a $145 million contract from the Environmental Protection Agency to provide support during environmental emergencies in the U.S. and its territories.

Under the seven-year contract, Lockheed will provide 24-hour support to the agency's Environmental Response Team, helping it to quickly assess emergencies ranging from the release of oil and hazardous materials to the containment and remediation of uncontrolled hazardous waste sites.
