The implications were extraordinary. Lovelock is a world-renowned scientist and environmentalist whose Gaia theory — that the Earth operates as a single, living organism — has had a profound impact on the development of global warming theory....

Lovelock blasted greens for treating global warming like a religion.

“It just so happens that the green religion is now taking over from the Christian religion,” Lovelock observed. “I don’t think people have noticed that, but it’s got all the sort of terms that religions use … The greens use guilt. That just shows how religious greens are. You can’t win people round by saying they are guilty for putting (carbon dioxide) in the air.”

You are wrong. Climate change, or "global warming" as you call it, is real. Mainstream, unbiased science has proved this countless times. Sure, the likes of Al Gore exaggerate and we should not treat climate change like a religion. However, we also should not treat (false) conspiracies like a religion.

How can you honestly say that global warming has been proven countless times? It was all faked. THAT'S been proven COUNTLESS TIMES!

Either you are ignorant of the real world, or you are simply a TROLL come here to cause trouble.

All you do is go find the leaked global warming e-mails, the global warming scientists at IPCC were out to pull the wool over the world eyes and fake the data. So yeah global warming has been proven with FAKE DATA. In other words global warming is NOT real.

The latter two are real for 1999, while the estimate for 1999 for NH combined is +0.44C wrt 61-90. The Global estimate for 1999 with data through Oct is +0.35C cf. 0.57 for 1998.
