Unhypnotized

After the trauma of three miscarriages, Louise Neate was desperate for a positive sign when she became pregnant again.
It came from her unborn son himself.
Her 21-week ultrasound scan clearly showed the baby making a V for victory gesture in the womb.

Everything's alright: The baby's gesture from inside Louise's womb can clearly be seen on the 21-week ultrasound scan

‘Somehow I just knew then that everything was going to be all right,’ said 30-year-old Mrs Neate. ‘It was extremely comforting.’
True to his Churchillian gesture, baby Owen arrived safe and healthy and is now doing fine.
Mrs Neate, a recruitment consultant, and her husband Daniel, a project manager, were unaware that she might have fertility problems.
Their first son Samuel had arrived in June 2007, weighing a healthy 8lb 6oz.

That is so cool and sweet. This woman deserved to be happy and to finally have a healthy child. I am in awe at how this baby gave his mother the victory sign.

Oh that is cool! I'll just bet she felt so much better after seeing something like that. I'd frame the ultrasound picture and put it up on the wall if I were her.

That is such an amazing story. I am really happy for the mother. I can't imagine how difficult it is to have a miscarriage or to lose your children. I am glad that she was able to get some assurance. This is definitely a happy story. :)

What an amazing story! It is common to see babies sucking their thumbs and making fists, but to see a victory sign - that is simply incredible.

That hand seems a bit overdeveloped, than again I'm no expert. Either way there is no denying that there must be some kind of link between the mother and the child, since it's two organisms living in one.

Truly amazing! Kind of looks pasted in there though. Looks like a sleeve on the wrist, but what do I know. If it IS real, WOW! Things like that are just awesome! Either way, it's a great story and I hope that the ultrasound is real. It's definitely something for that child and his mother to cherish forever!

Clearly and edited photo. I could make that in my sleep. You guys go on and keep believing it's real if that's what makes you happy. As for me, I need better proof.

To me it looks like the baby's hand was put there on purpose. They want you to believe that, that was natural.
It does not look natural to me. It looks like there's a sleeve on the arm. LOL And even if it was natural, it's probably a coincident.
Babies move all the time in the womb. And it just happened that the baby moved his fingures that way. Denise..... :)

Good point Frog. Mainstream Media doesn't seem to report real news anymore. It's all fake stories and scare tactics. Blazing fires, explosions, hoaxes. Clearly a sleeve in the picture, the more you look at it, the more you see it.

This has been driving me nuts, because it looks so much like clip art a hand with a cuff that is not of proportionate size for the fetus. so I took a little time to look through google image search and I found this, which looks very, very much like the image at the beginning of this thread.

The left being the picture of a tattoo, and the right being a cropped version of the picture at the top of this thread.

Just my opinion of course, but I think it looks just like the fetus one. I still think it's clip art and an edited ultrasound picture.

Looks like you might of found exact match of the picture, great job Sungazer! Looks like this might be phony after all, which brings the to my next question why would anybody want to fake a picture like this?

It's damn close, anyhow. I think it may be altered a little, but it's damn close.

As for WHY anyone would want to do this, well, it makes a great feel-good story. It would have been better if the person altering it would have been a little more knowledgeable with what they were doing. Size and angle, use a real hand, you know, those kind of things. I'm not saying I could have done a better job, god knows I can't, but i've seen lots of clip art in my day, I've been around long enough to have been using photo editing software (amateurly for my own little things here and there) to know what CAN be done. Not to mention that I've seen ultrasound images before and the proportion is way off for the size of hand.
