God's Cricket Chorus (Choir of the Crickets - slowed down)

Unhypnotized

Truth feeder
When I was studying acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine our class was very small and we became a close family. One day my friend Ara brought in the audio recording of crickets for all of us to hear. We did not know what to expect and when we heard this our eyes filled and an air of amazement and connectedness filled the room. I have never forgotten it.
The crickets singing had been slowed down to match the lifespan of a human. I have included more info below for you. Does this recording bring up emotions or remind you of our connectedness?

Jim Wilson & David Carson - God's Cricket Chorus (1992).

The story behind GOD'S CRICKETS.

This unusual recording contains two tracks:
1. the natural sound of crickets chirping
2. the sound of the crickets slowed down to match and mirror the length of the average lifespan of a human being.

The angelic chorus you hear accompanying the sound of the crickets is NOT a synthesizer or a chorus singing. It's the crickets themselves (slowed down) creating the effect. Really an amazing thing they've accomplished here. This recording can be played continuously in the background to create a natural soothing atmosphere for calming and healing.

This recording has been created by Jim Wilson.

This recording is an extended digitally remixed and mastered version taken from the original 1992 recording entitled "Ballad of the Twisted Hair" from the album "Medicine Songs" by David Carson and Little Wolf Band produced by Jim Wilson and released on Raven Records.

Choir of the Crickets (slowed down)

This is the sound of crickets slowed down to a human life span, NO added instruments or human voices are added!
Amazing!

Absolutely beautiful!

If you listen, this cricket song sounds very much like a choir; very harmonic.

It got me thinking:

They say spiritual evolution goes from being incarnated as a plant to being reincarnated to an animal and then to a human and then higher beyond that. What if it works the other way around? What if we are actually, as humans, on the lower end of the scale and plants are at the higher end? No one thinks that way. We as humans are arrogant and believe that we are ABOVE the plants and the animals spiritually. I’m beginning to believe that we are not; I’m beginning to believe that we are taught wrong.

Is this done on purpose? Or is this an oversight that has not been looked into yet? It SHOULD be considered, as should ALL things be considered.

Plants and animals are more harmonically attuned than we are as humans, so this is not a bad theory to investigate and think about.

I should probably add to that yet another thought on the same wave.

The arrogance as humans to kill the insects and harm the plants and the animals for our own gain, leads MORE thought on how it may be the case of us being lower frequency beings than the plants and animals and insects.

I hope that came out right. :)

Beautiful. I never thought I'd hear that from an insect :) Wonder if other insects are capable of this?

Not a bad theory, perhaps you're right considering the violence that is being perpetrated on each other nowdays.

I guess maybe insects do to to a certain extent, but for them it's probably for survival, not to see who can out do each other's evil, for a cheap sick thrill

Not a bad idea either, they say that everything including the.... ugh roaches are here for a purpose.

P.S, Progress is being made on our unwanted little pests:) ( Combination of natural and chemical treatments, mostly natural. I don't mind insects:

if they stayed outside where they belong that is. :)

Sounds right to me, look at most peoples way of thinking, that we're the only life forms in existence in this vast universe, same arrogance. Why then would the universe need to be in existance at all, if it were just us?

Sadly, there doesn't seem to be a recording available for sale or download anywhere that I can find either. However, after hearing this for the first time this past winter, I have made plans to record some crickets myself and do a similar recording. When I do, I will have it available for download here. Since the crickets usually start to come out late July early August, I still have a few months left before I can record anything.

Re: God's Cricket Chorus

NOTE: I merged 2 threads - God's Cricket Chorus and Choir of the Crickets (slowed down) - because they are the same recording. I would have done it sooner if I had noticed. :)

Anyhow, they are one thread now, as they should be. :)
