Wow! If that's not inspirational, I don't know what is! This must have been the most amazing thing to happen in this woman's life. To go that long without knowing what sound is, and then to experience it, finally. She can finally hear her husband's voice! And, i don't know if she's got kids, but could you imagine to be able to hear your children for the first time after only being able to see them? Wow. Unbelievable!
However, on another note, this technology must have been around for a while, so why is it only now that it is being implemented? I hope i'm wrong in saying, maybe there's more to that implant than what meets the eye. Tracking device, perhaps? RFID? I hope I'm wrong, for her sake and others like her, but I am a conspiracy nut, so these are the thoughts that run through my head all day.
