Your life assignment

1. You Will Receive A Body.
You may like it or not, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.

2. You Will Learn Lessons.
You are enrolled in a full-time, informal school called Life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lesson or think them irrelevant and stupid.

3. There Are No Mistakes, Only Lessons.
Growth is a process of trial and error, experimentation. The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that Ultimately “works”.

4. A Lesson Is Repeated Until It Is Learned.
A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it, then you can go on to the next lesson.

5. Learning Lessons Does Not End.
There is no part of Life that does not contain it’s lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.

6. “There” Is No Better Than “Here”.
When your “there” has become a “here”, you will simply obtain another “there” that will, again, look better than “here”.

7. Others Are Merely Mirrors Of You.
You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.

8. What You Make Of Your Life Is Up To You.
You have all the tools and resources you need; what you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

9. The Answers Lie Inside You.
The answers to life’s questions lie inside you. All you need to do is Look, Listen and Trust.

10. Whether You Think You Can Or Can’t, In Either Case You’ll Be Right.
Think About It.

Interesting, I've heard this concept though before. . . I guess I must be hardheaded. I still haven't figured out my life assignment, (which is why I come here to gain knowledge) but it's probably a little too late for me, my life as I know it is a mess. Nothing bad, bad just a whole lot of screw-ups have led me down this path on my personal life.

One thing that you need to remember is it is Never, Ever too late! For some people, it takes the majority of their lives in order to reach their "life assignment". Sometimes, your path is to be seemingly messed up so that others may learn. But, in your case, it's most likely to teach you something, as is the case with most people.

Just remember, it's never too late, and pay attention and you will begin to see your true path. You may even find that some of what you are doing already IS your path, you just can't see it. It is often stress and fighting it that makes us not see it in the first place.

Thank you for words of advice. I know where I am is needed now, I guess it's future I'm concerned about the most. This stupid complex we live in just raised my friends rent another $25.00 and they knew she had been in the hospital and for four months she had cna, nurse and OT, and PT therapists coming in, I do all the errands mostly by walking and perhaps taking a bus home one way is a $1.75 money we don't have, she has cab fair now to deal with, minimum visit to her internist $29.99, the state says she makes "too much money" in Social Security grand gross total of $1240.00 gross not net, to get Medicaid which would help out alot, and she pays for her perscriptions, too out of that, light bill,phone bill and cable, it's all overwhelming.
Now this stupid complex a day and a half ago, gives us that much time to clean as much as we can, and move things around, a full building inspection, tomorrow at 10:00 am. Something's going on. They painted the front of the building, (nothing for the back ) sorry for the mini rant.

It's ok for the mini rant, lol. It helps to relieve the stress to keep you where you need to be.

Thank you it does seem to helps to have a rant mini or maxi My poor friend has heard enough of my rants. We're stuck here regardless.
