This goes along the lines of another quote which I've seen attributed to Lenin as well as Hitler, which is (and I paraphrase) 'When you tell a lie enough times people start to believe it.' Mind you, when this wording for the above came to ME, I had not seen that quote, although THAT doesn't really matter. What matters is that truth is nothing more than commonplace beliefs. Most of the truths that we hold are based on what we are told/taught; many of those things over time come to no longer be truth.
