Here is info on the CIA's mind control project:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_MKULTRABasically, when a lot of guys came back from the Korean war, a lot of the POWs set up communist front organizations in the United States. The CIA became interested and set up its own mind control project. Needless to say, it was extremely successful. They would give people injections of LSD while giving them instructions for several hours at a time. I think the same principles could be used to change the ways of some of the more sinful members of society.

Or better yet, they could use it on Republicans, Christians and Catholics. They are the most sinful of all of us.

Ya, but you'd be messing with the concept of free will. Something that is a large part of your religion, no? You ought to either read or watch "A Clockwork Orange". It deals with this topic.

I doubt it, people can really change only if they want to deep down inside. Free will and personal beliefs are strong. You may see some short time effects but not long term. Thanks for the question and have a Blessed day!

that is an entirely immoral question to ask.using the word "cure" to rid homosexuallity is rude.and you are uneducated.also, aethists maybe dumb, but they are entitled to have their own dumb opinions.

Are you an example of your "god." If so, that makes you a tyrant as well. Free will should never be attacked or taken for granted. Your question is one that will make other people dumber for reading it... please stop asking questions that contain no logic.

"wow, what would jesus say about injecting people with hallucinogens and brainwashing people?"I'd imagine he would say "Score! This makes my job way easier!"

So, that god-given free will is apparently not good enough for you? The problem, really, is that a) You're talking about a Clockwork Orange scenario in which the state can pretty much change people on a whim, and b) Who decides what is "sinful"? What if, one day, reading Yahoo Answers is suddenly deemed "sinful", or owning a cat?
