Make sure that you change it again in the night before you go to bed. This method of treating warts will ensure quick results as the wart is continuously in contact with the potato pulp. Home remedies for warts that require potato pulp or potato juice will need to be used as soon as they are prepared and the excess juice can be discarded. As potato juice comes in contact with the oxygen in the air it undergoes oxidation which reduces its potency.

Onions are also valuable in warts. They are irritating to the skin and stimulate the circulation of the blood. Warts sometimes disappear when rubbed with cut onions. For particularly stubborn warts, you can apply a little fresh onion juice to the warts and allow it to dry on the wart. Do not rinse it off but allow it to get washed off naturally when you go for a shower. The oil extracted from the shell of the cashewnut is useful in warts as it is a strong irritant to the skin. It should be applied externally over the affected area in treating this condition.
