MOSCOW, April 10 (Xinhua) — Russia and Iraq signed a joint communique here on Friday, calling for the establishment of a new world order and speaking highly of the agreement on the forces pullout from Iraq, local media reported.
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and his visiting counterpart Nuri al-Maliki signed the communique after negotiations, the Itar-Tassnews agency reported.
In order to ensure global peace and security, assume international accountability and strengthen multilateral cooperation, Russia and Iraq urged the establishment of anew world order , which strictly abides by UN charters and resolutions and is based on well-acknowledged international laws and principles, said the communique.
