In Lebanon, about 86 kilometers northeast of Beirut, are the ruins of the temple complex of Baalbek. On a hill in the Bekaa Valley are temples to be found by various civilizations and in different periods built. When the Romans from 64 BC. Jupiter built their temple, and that the Phoenicians (from 323 BC.) their temple in honor of Baal put, all buildings that were much, much older. Historians estimate that the first building set back of some 5000 years ago, thousands of years before the Phoenicians and Romans down areas are the place to Heliopolis was renamed. The most remarkable, however, this temple complex is the temple of Jupiter. Not so much because of the architecture of the Romans, but more because of the stones on which the foundation of their temple laid. These stones dating from the first and builders are simply enormous. So huge, that no civilization was known that these stones in place was able to. It is also known as the enigma of Baalbek: an accumulation of huge stones, placed by an unknown civilization around 5000 years ago. A special structure that also is placed upside down, ie: huge monoliths from a document placed on smaller (but still huge) on smaller stones that rest. The big toes stops (the trilithon), the largest processed rocks on Earth: three perfect rectangular carved megaliths, each more than 1,000 tonnes. We are talking 5000 years ago, when copper and bronze were the only metals that these stones could try to edit. Apart from working with these huge stones, the mystery of how they are exactly in their place: the temple complex is on a hill 1150 feet high and the whole environment is uneven and rocky surfaces and has no right to create a slope or a firm that could support machinery to block it. These civilizations are not only outside any existing history books, they had clear about technology that we have only now able to match. However, these monuments there are, after all this time, and nobody knows who or what they had put down, or how and why.
The orthodox scientists and researchers have apparently no problem with this mystery a mystery to do and occasionally even bother with half baked theory that are immediately in the trash can. Alternative theories attempt to fill this gap and meet the various declarations. For example, an old race of seafaring people - some Atlantis - the architectural knowledge (and more) spread over the continents. Others talk about extraterrestrial interference. Others speak of giants who "cyclopische" buildings are put together. Anyway, it is clear that the Egyptians and South and Central American nations this knowledge have been fully developed, because there is no evidence that this knowledge is progressively developed to the level that the temples of the Maya, Inca 's and Egyptians show. This knowledge was suddenly there and was suddenly gone. Who also have been, their structures are proof that an advanced civilization on Earth has existed in a development that was close to ours and in some areas even further. For many researchers it is difficult to digest because the history books no longer correct, but stones of about 1,000 tonnes are still many more substantial reasons than a handful of half-baked theories.
