Manila: Filipino experts are trying to find an explanation for a rare occurrence that left some 500 dolphins stranded at a shallow portion off the coast of Bataan province west of the Philippines capital.
Dr Lemuel Aragones, Associate Professor at the UP Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology, said that this is the first time that such large numbers of dolphins had turned up in that part of the country.
