Early this month, an Egyptian delegate met Iran’s President Dr. Ahmadinejad in Tehran. The delegate consisted of scientists, intellectuals, writers, media parties, revolutionary youth and politic personalities of Egypt.
Dr. Ahmadinejad while talking to them on Iran-Egypt future relation, the current situation in the Arab world and Muslim world in general – emphasized that the criterion of opposition to arrogance and conflict with Zionist regime should be the basis for the action and behavior of groups, political parties, thinkers and regional nations.
Ahmadinejad took the opportunity and urged the regional nations to be more vigilant against the enemies (US-Israel and their local stooges, i.e. Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE, AL, etc.) of Muslim unity.
“Today U.S. government and its allies are seeking to restore control over cheap energy of Middle East region and North Africa, so the regional nations which are demanding changes should be careful and aware that those who disagree with their policies, the same people do not dominate them again in another way,” he told the delegate.
Ahmadinejad pointed to Iranian nation’s agreement and assistance with regional nations and Egyptian nation, said that the Iranian and Egyptian people look for dignity and development and are against humiliation as both sides try to adopt unified stands in dealing with global arrogance and Zionists.
Ahmadinejad emphasized that both nations of Iran and Egypt are alive and awake: “Today deep awakening are witnessed among two nations. Undoubtedly it‘s the introduction of larger developments and realization of the historical aspirations”.
Pointed to Iran’s 32-year-long achievements in nuclear, biotechnological, industrial, defense, scientific and agricultural fields – Ahmadinejad said if necessary grounds are prepared, Tehran is also prepared to make investments in Egypt.
“We have common historical and global mission to save humanity from global arrogance,” said the President.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said: “The enemies do not want establishment of any relations between the Iranian and Egyptian nations.
The President added: ‘Because that relation will lead to creation of a great power which can compel the Zionists to leave the region. “Today, we all know that the Zionist regime is an illegitimate one and the most hated in the world”.
In response to the invitation extended to the president by the Egyptian delegation, Ahmadinejad said he is eager to pay a visit to Egypt as soon as he receives an invitation from Egyptian government.
