Jason banned British MP George Galloway in March 2009 from entering Canada for supporting Palestinian cause. Last year Kenney refused to allow Dr. Zakir Naik, an Islamic scholar from India to visit Canada. Velshi has also worked at Jewish think tanks, America Enterprize Institute (AEI) and Foundation of Defence of Democracies (FDD). He is welknown for pro-Israel views and hatred toward Iran, Hizbullah and Hamas.

So why all of sudden Allykhan has turned his hasbara gun against Saudi Arabia, whose ‘royals’ have proven to be the best friends of US-Israel in the region? Like the rest of western rhetoric about women rights – his gimick is about lobbying for the controversial Tar Sands project. The multi-billion dollar industrial megaproject is being challenged for its distarous effects on environment and public health. Currently approved projects will see 3 million barrels of tar sands mock crude produced daily by 2018; for each barrel of oil up to as high as five barrels of water are used. Israeli geothermal energy company Ormat Industries is teamed up with Canadian company Opti Canada Inc. at the project.
The mock oil produced primarily will be consumed in the United States and helps to subsidize continued wars of aggression against other oil producing nations such as Libya, Syria, Venezuela and Iran.
As an Israel-Firster, Alykhan must know that Israel has oil shale reserves under its occupied Negev and Galilee regions – which are reported to be equal or even larger than Saudi Arabia. But being a tiny entity, the excessive release of CO2 emissions as result of mining, could kill most of the Jewish population.
Alykhan has claimed that under Saudi pressure, Canadian network CTV, has refused to broadcast his ad which claims that, in buying Saudi Arabian oil, “We’ve bankrolled a state that doesn’t allow women to drive and that diesn’t allow them to leave their homes or work without their male guardian’s permission”.
