On November 22, 2011 – Abraham Foxman, national director of ADL wrote a letter to CEO Punit Goenka and Chairman Subhash Chandra of Mumbai-based Zee TV, demanding that the name of network’s new soap opera ‘Hitler Didi’ should be changed. The show, starring the actress Rati Pandey, premiered on November 7 on Zee TV in India and is also being carried on the network’s affiliates in other countries, including the US and Canada. It runs five times a week and I have seen a few of its episodes. It’s based on the life of young woman in a big Hindu family who runs the household with an iron fist as ‘Didi (the older sister). Watch Episode 1 below.

“The name Hitler doesn’t belong in the title of a soap opera, and we think the producers of this program have made a terrible error in judgment that can only be remedied with a title change. Hitler was an anti-Semite, fascist dictator and mass murderer responsible for the annihilation of European Jewry. That millions of soap opera fans in India are now hearing and talking about a program with the name ‘Hitler’ on a daily basis is shocking. This is a terrible trivialization of a name freighted with the taint of the Nazi Holocaust. Let’s preserve the name ‘Hitler’ as a villain of incomparable evil and not trivialize his legacy or the Holocaust with a serial TV title,” wrote Abe Foxman.

Abe Foxman, as Guru of one of the most powerful pro-Israel Jewish organization, has God-given right to censor everything in the US and around the world. However, there is no denying the fact that Adolf Hitler had 150,000 German Jews in his Nazi Army. Furthermore, Zionist Jews collaborated with Nazi regime and German author Hennecke Kardel even called his book ‘Adolf Hitler: Founder of Israel’.

Last year, when Bollywood film director, Rakesh Ranjan Kumar, announced to make a movie titled ‘Dear Friend Hitler‘ - even Israeli government demanded that Indian government must not allow the movie to be filmed. Kumar argued that movie was based on the love story of Hitler and Eva Braun and was meant as tribute to Hitler for his “indirect contribution to Indian independence“.
