“Thirtynine years ago, Israel’s defense minister Ehud Barak as commander of the elite Sayeret Matkal IDF commando unit, lead a assassination squad to Beirut to kill three senior PLO leaders. In order to avoid suspicion, some of the Sayeret Matkal troops, including Barak, donned wigs, dressed as women and walked lovingly arm-in-arm with their non-costumed male counterparts, reported by Israel Defense Force blog on April 9, 2012.

So I find it hard to believe Israeli daily Ha’aretz’s Amir Oren’s claim that Israel’s defense minister Gen. Ehud Barak has finally decided to join his fellow Jew military Generals in opposing an Israeli attack on Iran before the US elections in November 2012. Amir also claimed that Barak might be thinking of joining Tzipi Livni’s new party to become defense minister in Livni government.

Just two days ago, Ehud Barak appeared to hint that “he believed the US will join Israel in a strike on Iran to prevent the Islamic Republic from obtaining nuclear weapons,” reported the Jerusalem Post.

However, it seems, the con-Zionist has realized that Iran will be a too big a fish for the Jewish army to catch. So he floated the idea to subsitute Gaza for Iran.

“If the cabinet deems it needed, the Israeli army can conquer and rule Gaza Strip,” said Barak a few days ago.

However, Barak’s ‘turn-around’ is result of Gen. Martin Dempsey’s warning to the Israeli warmongers, on August 30, in London, saying: ““I don’t want to be complicit if they choose to do it”.

One of Mitt Romney’s senior advisers, former CIA chief Gen. Michael Hayden, has also echoed Gen. Dempsey’s warning, telling the Israeli daily Ha’aretz on Thursday that an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities would likely be counter-productive.

In January 2012, two poweful Zioncon think tanks, Brookings Institution and RAND Corporation had predicted that even upon possessing nuclear weapons, Iran is unlikely to use them or proliferate to non-state anti-USrael groups. They also recognized that despite the anti-Iran propaganda carried out by the Zionist-controlled mainstream western media, Tehran does indeed value self-preservation and conduct its foreign policy aggressively but not irrationally.

The real danger of Iran’s possession of nuclear weapons, is – it will challenge US-Israel domination in the region. A top Israel’s military planner, Maj. Gen. Amir Eshel admitted in January 2012, that a nuclear Iran would make very difficult for Israel to defeat Hizbullah and Hamas.
