On Friday 14 September Pope Benedict XVI will land at the Rafik Hariri international airport in Beirut. Following the welcome ceremony, he will travel to Basilica of St. Paul in Harissa. A Vatican statement says that the Pope will use his first visit to the country to promote co-existence by strengthing ties with Muslim communities. Pope Benedict XVI is paying visit to the country on the invitation Lebanon’s Sunni Muslim Prime Minister Najib Mikati.

I bet, Catholic writer and blogger, Joanna Francis, will laugh on that statement. In September 2006, she called Pope Benedict XVI, a Zionist Double Agent.

“It’s really not difficult to understand why Benedict XVI is encouraging emnity between the Catholics and the Muslims. All you have to ask is: cui bono? (who benefits?). The Zionists, of course. The Catholic Church was always their biggest enemy. So naturally the Jews were going to do anything and everything to get it under their control. It took almost 2,000 years, but it finally happened in 1958. The Jews pulled off a coup d’eglise with the election of Freemason Angelo Roncalli (John XXIII) to the Papacy. Immediately upon his election, the media began calling Roncalli ”Good Pope John.” Be careful when the Jewish controlled media praises someone, especially a Catholic, that means that person is working for them. Contrast the media’s love affair with the post-1958 popes with their hatred of all pre-1958 popes, up to and including Pius XII (who died in 1958). They accuse Pope Pius XII of having been a Nazi, which really means that Pius XII actually thought he was the Pope of the Catholic people and did not realize that he was supposed to be working for the Jews! I have figured out that whoever the Jews hate, you can bet your bottom dollar, that person knows the truth about the Jewish agenda. The converse is also true: whoever the Jews love, that person is a traitor to the Christian people and is really a Zionist tool,” she wrote.

Anyone who has read Christian history in Lebanon or the rest of the Middle East from objective source – would tell the Pope to promote co-existence between Jews and Christians in Israel rather than with Arab Muslims – especially, since his Lord Christ was also a Palestinian. Benjamin H. Freedman, a Jewish scholar, historian and researcher wrote in 1953 that ‘Jesus was not a Jew‘.

“This ‘big lie’ technic is brainwashing USA Christians into believing that Jesus Christ the “King of Jews”, in the sense that so-called ‘Jews’ call themselves ‘Jews’. This reference was first made in English translations of the Old and New Testaments, centuries before the so-called Jews highjacked the word ‘Jew’ in the 19th A.D. century to palm themselves off on the Christian world as having a kinship with Jesus Christ. This alleged kinship comes from the myth of their common ancestry with the so-called ‘Jews’ of the Holy Land in the Old Testament history, a fiction based on fable,” wrote Freedman.

Last week, Vatican’s top official in the occupied Palestine, Father Pierbattista Pizzaballa, condemned the Zionist regime for its persecution of Christian minority in Israel. “When I came to the country, I was told that I should know that if I walk around with a frock in Jerusalem, (Jewish) people will spit on me, and I shouldn’t be offended. It’s normal,” said Father Pierbattista Pizzaballa.

Christian churches have been torched, defaced and vandalized by Jews in Israel. In February 2012, Israeli Jews sprayed an anti-Christian graffiti on the walls of Jerusalem Baptist House, saying: “We will (Jesus) crucify you” and “Death to Christians”. Last week, Jews wrote “Jesus is a monkey” at the Catholic monastery at Latrun and set its front door on fire.

On Saturday 15 September, the Pope will meet with Lebanese President, Prime minister and Speaker of the parliament. On Sunday 16 September, the Pope will celebrate the Mass – and release his Apostolic Exhortation concluding the work of the Synod of Bishops for the Middle East, which met in Rome in October 2010. The statement issued at the end of the Synod of Bishops had declared that Bible never promised Palestine to Jews.

In Lebanon, Christians population wields more power than any other Arab nation. Though Christians make less than 37% of Lebanon’s total population – they have 50% of the 128-seat Lebanese assembly reserved for them. The President of Lebanon must be a Christian under country’s constitution. Christians also hold several cabinet, diplomatc and high-ranking military posts.

Sheikh Nasrallah, leader of the Islamic Resistance organization Hizbullah is not expected to meet the Pope but he has called Pope’s visit as ‘historic’. However, the Pope can gain some wisdom from Sheikh Nasrallah, who said: “Neither America nor Israel cares about our prayers or fasting. Fast as you want, pray as you want, or perform pilgrimage as you want, but leave things, sovereignty, and the major political interests for America and Israel. The contradiction with the Islamic resistance factions in Gaza is not due to their ideological, religious, or intellectual affiliation. It is, however, due to the program of the resistance“.
