The Zionist regime has rebuffed the latest United Nations call to join the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and behave like a civilized member of world body by opening its nuclear facilities (five) to international nuclear watchdog (IAEA) inspection as Iran and other more than 45 world nations are doing for years. The Zionist regime has called the suggestion “meaningless mechanical vote” of a body that “lost all its credibility regarding Israel”. Funny though, it was the United Nations which gave birth to the Zionist entity in 1948.
On December 4, Netanyahu at a forum on public diplomacy held in Jerusalem, dismissed world oppositon to new illegal Jewish settlements or country’s secret nuclear program, saying the root of Israel-Palestinian conflict is “the very existence of State of Israel in any borders whatsoever“. The truth is, an autonomous Jewish State of Birobidjan has existed in Russia since 1934.
British Zionist foreign secretary William Hague assured the Zionist regime on Tuesday that European Union would not impose sanctions against Israel if it went ahead with the 3,000 new settlements. In 2010, Hague told ‘British Friends of Israel’ that he would fight Iran for Israel.
*In a 174-6 vote with 6 abstentions, the United Nations General Assembly demanded in a non-binding call that Tel Aviv join the NPT “without further delay,” in an effort to create a legally binding nuclear-free Middle East.
As expected, the US, Israel, Canada and three of Washington’s protectorates, Marshall Islands, Micronesia and Palau voted against UN Resolution. The US, however, voted in favor of two clauses which were put to separate vote – insisting that all UN member state join NPT. Only Israel and India voted against those two clauses. It seems, Washington’s vote was a PR to fool the world. In fact, Obama administration, following Israel’s lead – has refused to attend UN-US-Russian sponsored conference on a nuclear-free Middle East scheduled to be held in Finland this month.
All Arab nations and Iran accepted to attend the conference and showed their willingness to discuss nuclear issues directly with Israeli representatives. Israel thrashed the proposal in September 2012 calling it an Arab plot against Israel.
Iran has held two conferences on a nuclear-free Middle East in the past – which were attended by more than 40 nations.
There are currently five nuclear-weapon-free zones in the world, according to the UN: Latin America and the Caribbean, the South Pacific, South-East Asia, Central Asia, and Africa.
Israel, India, Pakistan and N. Korea refuse to sign the NPT.
