The Jewish Lobby scored yet another victory on December 28, when Barack Obama signed the Countering Iran in Western Hemispher Act, passed by AIPAC-controlled lawmakers early this year. The bill demands that US State Department under Israel-Firster John Kerry come up with a plan to counter Iran’s rising influence in Latin-American nations in 180 days as Iran’s presence in Latin-America poses a serious threat to both the United States and the Zionist entity. This is in addition to the United Nations sanctions and US-Israel-UK ‘covert war’ being carried out against Islamic-regime in Tehran for the last three decades.

Since Ahmadinejad took-over presidency in 2005, Tehran has increased its embassies in South American nations from 5 to 11 in 2012.

In October 2012, Zionist president Shimon Peres told visiting Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota that Barzil should boycott Ahmadinejad as he poses a great threat to Latn-America.

In July 2011, Robert F. Noriega, a fellow at Israel advocacy group American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and former US ambassador with OAS, testified at House Subcommittee on Counterterrorim and Intelligence that Lebanese Islamic Resistance Hizballah and Iran’s Qods Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps are active in several Latin American nations which would pose a great threat to United States security in the future.

Interestingly, the State Department concluded in their Country Reports on Terrorism (issued August 2010) that “the threat of a transnational terrorist attack remained low for most countries in the Western Hemisphere” and that “there were no known operational cells of either al-Qa’ida- or Hizbollah-related groups in the hemisphere” aside from “ideological sympathizers.”

Javier Farje, Peruvian journalist and editor of Latin American Bureau in London has called Obama’s new anti-Iran law as an act of frustration by Washington as result of its imperial grip on Latin-American nations. “It’s not true that Iran has a huge influence in Latin America but reflects that America has lost influence in Latin America. It no longer dictates the way Latin American establishes relationships with other countries in the world. The US is misunderstanding this relationship,” he said. Read his interview with Press TV, here.

Tehran has developed political and trade close relations with Latin-American nations such as, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba, Surinam, and Ecuador. In addition the 120-member strong Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) also supports Iran’s right to enrich uranium for civilian purpose. Iran is presently the chairman of NAM until 2016 after that it wil be replaced by Venezuela for the next four years.

Nick Ottens, in Jewish Atlantic Sentinel on January 10, 2012 had called Iran’s Latin American alliance a JOKE!

On September 21, 2011, Anna Mahjar-Barducci whined at the Jewish Gatestone Institute: “Iran has started its “invasion” of Latin America, launching a TV channel in Spanish, HispanTV. that will be available in the region at the end of 2011. The channel will be a propaganda tool against the West, bringing Iran’s political and religious perspective to Latin America. Teheran also intends to establish offices there of IRNA, Iran’s national news agency, to compete with Western agencies and to influence the public opinion. Iran intends not to remain isolated, but to conquer instead the hearts and the spirits in the US’s backyard“. However, she did not mention banning of Press TV and other Iranian Channels by EU and Eutelsat, owned by a French-Israeli Jewish billionaire Michel de Rosen.
