Last month, Bollywood superstar, Shahrukh Khan, penned an Op-Ed which was published by an Indian magazine, Onlook Turning Points, a joint issue with the New York Times, a pro-Israel America’s top newspaper. In the Op-Ed, titled, ‘Inside my Khanate’. Shahrukh Khan is married to a Hindu lady, by the name Gauri Chhibber (born 1970), talked in the article about his Muslim roots and how he treated his faith as ones’ private choice which should not bother others.
Shahrukh Khan exposes the stereotyhed hateful imagery of ordinary Muslims in India and the West since 9/11, an Israeli false flag operation. He recalls his own experience in the United States in 2009, when he was detained at Newark Airport on suspicion of being a “Muslim terrorist”.
“A stereotyped extremist; no dance, no drink, no cigarette tipping off his lips, no monogamy, no blasphemy; a fair, silent face beguiling a violent fury smoldering within. A streak that could even make him blow himself up in the name of his God. Then there is the image of me being shoved into a back room of a vast American airport named after an American president (another parallel image: of the president being assassinated by a man named lee, not a Muslim thankfully, nor Chinese as some might imagine! I urgently shove the image of the room out of my head),” wrote Khan.
Shahrukh Khan may not had expected how a simple truth would create a political storm in both Hindu-majority India and Muslim-majority neighboring Pakistan. Just before the publication of the article, Mumbai police decided to stop providing personal security guards for Shahrukh Khan on the ground that he no longer faces any threat from Hindu extremists. The 24-hour security guards were provided in 2008, when Hindu extremists sent messages to Indian news channels threatening Khan and three other Bollywood Muslim celebrities.
Reacting to the news, Pakistan’s interior minister, Rehman Malik, a suspected CIA-Mossad agent, called upon Indian government to reinstitute the police protection. “He is born Indian and he would like to remain Indian. But I will request the government of India to please provide him security. I’m sure all those who are talking against him or trying to threaten him, they will withdraw their threat with the hope that Khan is a symbol of love and unity between Hindu majority and Muslim minority,” said Malik.
Shahrukh Khan’s father, a staunch supporter of Mahtama Gandhi left Peshawer (Pakistan) and settled in India after partition of British India on August 14, 1947.
An interesting twist to Khan’s article, Professor Hafiz Saeed, head of LeT, whom Washington has blamed for masterminding the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks, has advised Shahrukh Khan to migrate to Pakistan if he feel unsafe in India. In April 2012, Obama administration announced a bounty of $10 million for information leading to the capture and sentencing of Hafiz Saeed.
