On Friday, Dick Harpootlian, South Carolina Democratic Party Chairman, took another cheap racist shot at the state Governor Nikki Haley.
“In about 18 months from now, hopefully he’ll have sent Nikki Haley back to wherever the hell she came from,” said Harpootlian while introducing the state’s Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate Vincent Sheheen at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner on Friday, shortly before Israel-Firster US Vice President Joe Biden took the stage.
The racist comment drew cheers and laughs from the audience in attendance, but Harpootlian is now facing harsh criticism, given Haley’s Indian heritage.
Last year, Harpootlian compared Nikki Haley to Hitler’s mistress Eva Braun. The comparison was criticized by ADL as an antisemitic slur.
