Iranian President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made the remark during a meeting with new Venezuelan ambassador, Amenhotep Zambrano, on Monday. He also told Zambrano that today Latin American nations have become familiar with the path of Bolivar Revolution which is the path to honor and resistance, adding this path will certainly lead them to victory.

“Our friendship and brotherhood is beyond diplomatic relations and will continue forever,” Ahmadinejad added.

Hugo Chevez built very close relations with the anti-Israel ‘Axis of Resistance’ (Iran, Hizbullah, Syria and Hamas). Chavez was against French-NATO war on Libyan president Qaddafi. Chavez was a personal friend of Ahmadinejad and called him “brother”. Ahmadinejad met Chavez in Caracas four times during his 8-year presidency. In addition, Ahmadinejad travelled to Caracas to attend Chavez funeral and Maduro’s inaguration ceremony in April 2013.

In June 2012, Chavez announced that Venezuelan engineers trained in Iran, have built country’s first three drones.

After Hugo Chavez, the Jewish press continue demonizing Chavez lieutenent Nicolas Maduro. Last month, Jewish Telegraph Agency (JTA) and several other Jewish media outlets claimed that Maduro had admitted of his Jewish family roots. In 2009, British Jewish Daily Telegraph, claimed that Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s family converted from Judaism to Islam. The claim, later, was rejected by Iranian-born Israeli writer and analyst, Meir Javedanfar in daily Guardian on October 5, 2009.

Last week, John Kerry held a 40-minutes meeting with his Venezuelan counterpart, Elias Jaua, on the sidelines of Organization of American States (OAS) meeting (June 4-6) in the Guatemalan city of Antigua. In the meeting Kerry thanked Venezuelan government for releasing US documentary filmmaker or CIA-Mossad agent, Timothy Hallet Tracy, 35, recently accused of espionage and terrorism during presidential election. However, according to Venezuela’s Minister of the Interior Miguel Rodriguez Torres, Tracy was “expelled” from the country.

After the meering, Kerry told reporters that the United States and Venezuela have agreed to take steps towards establishing a “constructive” relationship between the two countries that will “soon” allow for the normalization of diplomatic relations.

Kerry’s hypocrisy is laughable. I’m sure Kerry knows that his backers, the Jewish lobby groups, will never let this happen until Chevez successor, president Nicolas Maduro distance himself from the new Iranian President to be elected on June 14, 2013.

After the death of president Hugo Chevez, Israel lobby, American Enterprise Institute (AEI), published its post-Chavez checklist for US policymakers on March 5, 2013. One of the 4 pre-conditions, was the dismantling of Iranian and Hizbullah networks in Venezuela.

Relations between Caracas and Washington have been at the charge d’affaires level since 2010, when the late President Hugo Chavez refused to recognize Larry Palmer as US Ambassador to Venezuela for Palmer’s criticism of Venezuelan Army and accusing Chavez for harboring Colombian rebels. In 2009, Chavez expelled Israeli ambassador in protest to Israeli bombing of Gaza Strip.
