On May 3, 2013, British daily The Guardian reported that the head of Republican Party Animals (RPA), David Stein, 45, was in fact, David Cole Stein, a Holocaust denier in hiding. He faked his new name after receiving death threats from the Jewish terrorist organization, Jewish Defense League (JDL) 18 years ago. The RPA bills itself as the “drinking, smoking. gambling and cussing” wing of the pro-Israel GOP lawmakers and party’s Jewish bankers.

I refuse to be a part of it. My situation involves matters that I believed to be historically factual. If people think I erred, they can show me my mistakes, and I will admit any error. But apologize? Cave in because someone calls me “racist,” or because my conservative friends apparently believe that recantation at the point of a sword is how historical debates are settled?
