Last week, US District Court Judge Shira Scheindlin slammed the New York Police Department (NYPD) for its controversial ‘stop-and-frisk’ program. She called it “uncostitutional” and “policy of indirect racial profiling” that led officers to routinely stop “blacks and Hispanics who would not have been stopped if they were white.”
New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, an Israel-Firster and favorite of New York Mayor Michael Rubens Bloomberg (Jewish), defended the ‘stop-and-frisk’ program during an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday morning. Kelly claimed that more New Yorkers would have died without the program in place.
The ‘Stop and frisk’ is a commonly used practice wherein NYC police officers question tens of thousands of pedestrians and may frisk them for weapons and contraband. Black, Latin and Muslim communities have been the main target of the program. More than five million New York residents have been stopped and frisked since Bloomberg took office in 2002. Over 86% of those who have been stopped are either Blacks, Latinos or Muslims.
The Associated Press (AP) has reported that NYPD spied and “baited” Muslim religious and community leaders for possible terrorist activities. For example, last year, Shamiur Rahman, a 19-year-old American of Bangladeshi descent who has now denounced his work as an informant, said police told him to embrace a strategy called “create and capture.” He said it involved creating a conversation about jihad or terrorism, then capturing the response to send to the NYPD. For his work, he earned as much as $1,000 a month and goodwill from the police after a string of minor marijuana arrests.
Informants like Rahman are a central component of the NYPD’s wide-ranging programs to monitor Muslims and framed them being involved in anti-American activities since the Israeli 9/11 false flag operation. Police officers have eavesdropped inside Muslim businesses, trained video cameras on mosques and collected license plates of worshippers. Informants who trawl the mosques – known informally as “mosque crawlers” – tell police what the imam says at sermons and provide police lists of attendees, even when there’s no evidence they committed a crime.
In more than six years of spying on Muslim neighborhoods, eavesdropping on conversations and cataloguing mosques, the NYPD secret Demographics Unit and its Mossad-affiliated CIA officials never generated a lead or triggered a terrorism investigation, the department acknowledged in court testimony unsealed in August 2012. In January 2012, the CIA pulled back its helpers from NYPD anti-Muslim spying squad.
The NYPD also conducted surveillance of thousands of students across New York Campuses suspected of supporting BDS and Palestinians.
According to AP report, Shiite communities and their mosques were main targets of NYPD spying for their pro-Iran-Hizbullah and anti-Zionist feelings.

Kind of ironic that a Homeland Security Department would have a physical presence in another country.

On September 12, 2012, the Business Insider reported the NYPD opened an official office in Israel’s Sharon District Police headquarters in Kfar Saba with a former Israeli running the operation to “maintain a close working relationship”.
On December 2, 2011, Jewish American investigative journalist Max Blumenthal also claimed that American security services have been totally “Israelized”.
