Tel Aviv city has announced to erect a Holocaust monument in memory of gays and lesbian pesecuted by the Nazis.
The museum will be constructed in Meir Park, near the Tel Aviv Gay and Lesbian Association Center in the central park of the city, reported daily Ha’aretz.
It will include a pink trangle along with a bench and a plaque providing information on the persecution of gays during the Nazi era. The gays were forced to wear an identifying pink triangle on their clothing in the same way that Jews were forced to wear a yellow star – except the 150,000 German Jews who were part of the Nazi Army and the Jewish terrorist groups who were trained by the Nazis to kill and displace Arabs from Palestine later on.
The inscription on the memorial will read: “To the memory of those persecuted by the Nazis regime for their sexual preference and gender identity“.
The gay memorial is the brainchild of Jewish gay attorney Eran Lev, a member of the city council.
“This will be the first and only memorial site in Israel to mention the victims of the Nazis who were persecuted for anything other than being Jewish,” said Lev.
I know, there are more LGBT among Jewish communities based on population than other religious groups – but the non-Jews were the real victims of the Nazi Holocaust.
If one believes Zionists’ narrative of Holocaust (6 million), then according to American historian Richard C. Lukas, ten times more non-Jewish people died at the hands of Nazis.
“The genocidal policies of the Nazis resulted in the deaths of about as many Polish Gentiles as Polish Jews, thus making them co-victims in a Forgotten Holocaust. This Holocaust has been largely ignored because historians who have written on the subject of the Holocaust have chosen to interpret the tragedy in exclusivistic terms–namely, as the most tragic period in the history of the Jewish Diaspora. To them, the Holocaust was unique to the Jews, and they therefore have had little or nothing to say about the nine million Gentiles, including three million Poles, who also perished in the greatest tragedy the world has ever known. Little wonder that many people who experienced these events share the feeling of Nobel Laureate Czeslaw Milosz, who anxious when the meaning of the word Holocaust undergoes gradual modifications, so that the word begins to belong to the history of the Jews exclusively, as if among the victims there were not also millions of Poles, Russians, Ukrainians, and prisoners of other nationalities,” he wrote.
Tel Aviv will be the sixth city to honor the victims of the Gay Holocaust after Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Sydney and San Francisco. Tel Aviv city officials have been busy turning the city as Vatican for the LGBT community since 2005.
LGBT tourists are very valuable commodity. According to a recent report by the Gay European Tourism Association (GETA), the European LGBT community tourism generates $63-68 billion while American LGBT generates $64 billion. Add up another $48 billion for LGBT tourists from Canada, Latin America and Australia. In other words, how could Israel ignore its share of $190 billion worth pink cake!
