Bishop Sizer irks British Jewish lobby again!

British-born Dr. Stephen Sizer is Anglican pastor, writer, peace activist, freelance photographer and blogger. As a Christian, he feels obliged to support Palestinians’ rights to recapture their homeland stolen by the European Zionist Jews. As a Christian preacher and peace activist, Sizer has visited Iran. He has been interviewed by Iran’s Press TV. As result, Sizer has been declared “anti-Israel” and a “Jew-hater (antisemite)” by the British Jewish Lobby.

Last year, the Board of Deputies of British Jews, an umbrella body of pro-Israel Jewish organizations including some members of British parliament, lodged a complaint with the Anglican church officials against Bishop Sizer for propagating hatred against state of Israel, Zionism and Jews. His alleged crime was, he posted an article by ex-CIA analyst Ray McGovern with a link to a Canadian website, The Ugly Truth, considered being Jew-hater the Jewish lobby groups.

On June 5, 2012, Sizer posted Dr David Morrison’s 24-page booklet about Iran’s nuclear activities. The booklet exposes western powers’ double standard for the Zionist entity and the Islamic Republic.

“A double standard is being applied with regard to nuclear weapons in the Middle East. Iran, which has (nuclear bomb) none, is the object of ferocious economic sanctions and threats of military action. Israel, which has many (perhaps as many as 400) and the ability to deliver them to any capital in the Middle East, is the object of over $3 billion a year of military aid. The US, Israel and others, who are threatening military action against Iran, are in breach of Article 2.4 of the UN Charter, which requires that all UN member states “shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state,” wrote Dr. Morrison.

On August 15, 2013, pastor sizer posted an article suggesting ten easy steps to get visa for Iran. He informs his readers they can get a visa within the same day, but they have to visit Dublin as there is no Iranian embassy in London. Read the interesting post here.

On May 16, 2013, Press TV conducted an interview with Sizer. In response to what has prevented Palestinians achieving their dream of an independent state – Sizer said: “The United States, essentially, has vetoed every UN resolution upholding the rights of the Palestinians and therefore, given the United States’ influence in the world as a superpower, they have effectively vetoed any prospect of the Palestinians achieving their aspirations of an independent state.” Read the interview here.

Michael Nazir Ali, former Bishop of Rochester, represented the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby (with Jewish family roots) at the inauguration ceremony of Bishop Azad Marshall as the new Archbishop of Iran, on August 5, 2013. In an Op-Ed at British Conservative weekly magazine The Spectator (July 27, 2013), Nazir Ali said that Iran’s “new president Hassan Rouhani could be our best hope for peace in the region”.

“Rouhani is a protégé of the former president Muhammed Khatami, with whom I have had the chance to work. Khatami’s presidency failed because the West, especially the US, did not respond adequately to his overtures, but also because he ran into opposition from hard-liners. His failure showed where real power resided — with the ‘Ulama’, the legal authority made up of the Guardianship of the Revolution, and with the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei,” says Nazir Ali.
