Here's a bit about me, in order of easiest to hardest truths:

I am a musician from Kansas.
I am a homebrewer.
I am irrationally afraid of wasps.
I recently have experienced frequent night terrors.
I am a high school dropout.

Now that's out of the way, I look forward to researching, reading, and discussing things with all of you. Ask me anything; I'm fairly open, as I like to ask the questions as well.

Thanks!

Welcome sola, it's great to see somebody able to put the hardest truths about themselves of the open like this.

Since you were so sincere about yourself here some hard truths about me:

I am from Toronto Canada.
I have no musical talent.
I am irrationally afraid of most insects and arachnids.
I suffer from anxiety.
I have visions that I usually don't share with people, but I'm told it should.
I am a college dropout.
I am overweight.
I have bad eyesight.
I am very emotional.
I love chocolate.
I love thunderstorms.
I try to please everybody and usually never works out.

I'm sure I could go on, I look forward to getting into discussions with you.

Hi Sola:

Welcome.Fairly recent member myself.I can say these things about me too, I probably should've like you, as a part of my introduction. Oh, well better late then never.

I can truthfully say there's not a musical bone in my body though I do enjoy music.
You are probably more successful having dropped out of school then I am having graduated. (I'm not being sarcastic. My life is just one big financial shamble).
I am irrationally afraid of heights. I hate seeing them on TV even though I know it's fake. I won't go down an escalator, but will go up one, as long as I don't look down. I get down by elevator or stairs.
I have heard of night terrors but have never had them.

Truth is really important to me.
I'm afraid of heights.
I am disabled.
I enjoy music.
I have no musical abilities, however I do like to sing.
I love nature.
I like to read books.
I'm not into regular television but I do watch documentaries.

This is fun, hope others will join in.

Yes, it is fun.

I forgot to add, I like to read too.

I love nature and animals.

I like regular tv, but also like the documentaries as well, especially about our ancient past.

Unfortunate I can't sing a bit.

Thank you all for your warm welcome! Also for your honesty. I didn't know I started a game!

While we're at it:

I play piano at a church that would likely fire me if they knew I didn't agree with their beliefs.

On heights - I'm not particularly afraid of them if I'm safe. However the self-made videos of these Russian kids climbing around on bridges and skyscrapers without any safety gear really freak me out.

Hi Zola.

I hope the church never finds out, you disagree with their beliefs, I, for one, don't see anything wrong with it, it's whats in your heart that counts anyway. In this economy you do what job you have to do, in order to get by. As long as it doesn't hurt anyone in the process. I've never actually had the opportunity to play an instrument. My mother could pick any tune she heard out by ear on banjo and guitar.

I know I'm irrationally afraid of heights. My friend is more like you about heights. But she didn't like it when she went high on the ferris wheel with her husband(he didn't seem to be afraid of anything) and he teased her with rocking the seat back and forth, when it was at its highest level. I certainly wouldn't have gone on a ride with him.

Hi Sola. It's great to have you here.

I guess it's my turn to get in on this, lol. :)

Well, here goes:

I live in Windsor
I love music and can't sing or play worth anything, however I love to sing when the mood hits me or when I hear a song I can't resist singing along with. :)
I love animals wild and domestic, and am a nature lover.
I hate large cities, I find them depressing. I would much rather live far away from civilization out in the woods.
I am a psychic, and I read Tarot. :)
I run this website. :)
I love humanity, but don't like society (or at least what it has become)
It hurts me to lie to people (literally, hurts), so I try to be as honest as I possibly can all the time.

I'll just leave it at that for now. After all, I have to remain somewhat mysterious don't I? :)

I second the motion about cities.

I dislike them too, but necessity (lack of proper transportation) makes it necessary to live in one.

I would love to live somewhere further out then a city, to enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature.

I don't like the society the way it has become either dog eat dog for the most part, although sometimes you do see a ray of hope,

I used to be quite a loudmouth when it came to spouting truths and my opinions, but I've backed off quite a bit having realized that there are better ways to go about it. :)
I too love nature.
I often long to be abducted by aliens, but then I think about all those stories and realize that if it were to happen, it may not be the kind that I would like to chat with. :( Seriously.
I strive to make this a peaceful world by waking people up to reality.
Oh, and I tend to stray off topic (way off sometimes) when in conversation with others.

Yes, I know the feeling about aliens, just as long as they're not the kind in the classic Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man. :) We don't need to be lunch or dinner for other beings.
