NASA looking for planets like the Earth

In search of planets like the Earth, the American Space Agency NASA are strongest weapon so far in the Kepler space telescope. Friday around eleven o'clock (local time) that is launched from Cape Canaveral in the U.S. state of Florida.
The Kepler is named after the German astronomer Johannes Kepler (1571-1630). He searches for Earth-like planets, because scientists believe that there is life. For this, the planet is not too hot and not too cold, a solid structure and liquid water. This means that the planet is about as far from its star as the earth needs the sun, about 150 million kilometers. In addition, the star and the planet about as large as the sun and the earth.
