I have a question for AMORC members... AMORC states their symbol is the true and original symbol of the Rosicrucian Order, the golden cross with one red rose in the center:

However, nowadays their most common symbol is this:

It contains the golden cross and the red rose but is more complex... and they don't tell anything about it on their website. Could someone please explain to me the origins of this symbol and its esoterical meanings?
