    Thanks!
It's always nice to have more people who can safely embrace the sun!

    Re: Sungazing

I for one am too afraid to stare at the sun, it hurts my eyes and I don't think I'm ready for it yet. Maybe one day I'll give it a chance but for now I do not stare Sun.

It is truly a divine practice. I meditate alot and practice Qi-gong and sun gazing felt natural and right from the start. I am a new gazer, only 3 weeks and I am gazing 3 min at a time but, want more Coming from spiritual practice (cultivation) it is easy to see Sun gazing as a gradual process. I am naturally grateful for the Sun, appreciative of the Sun, and falling in love with the Sun
This outlook (perspective) is the key to solar gazing I think, the mind's intention is the strongest factor. Make yourself an instrument to receive because the Sun always unconditionally gives! It is so powerful but, some sunrises and sunsets it will be just perfect deep gold and easier to stare at. Start slow and there is no pressure to increase the time you gaze! It is all about personal transformation here

And when it feels right, it should be considered right. I trust that it is the intention that makes it either safe or harmful. And I for one, will continue in my sungazing practices. I never time how long i stare at the sun, I just go with what i feel i need at the time.

    Re: Sungazing

Yes, it is absolutely the intentions that make the difference, as pointed out in my channeling on sungazing:
Sungazing: Determining Whether Or Not It Is The Right Choice For You

Sungazing can be harmful, but only if the proper intentions (and beliefs) are not there in the first place. I have found that those who are "true" sungazers (those that gaze properly) are much more at peace within themselves. Those that are not "true" sungazers, will come across the opposite effect.
Go through your life with love and light, and nothing can truly harm you.

    Re: Sungazing

My eyes always have been sensitive to light, too much light in my eyes don't want to stay open. So me becoming a Sungazer will be an extremely daunting task. However I will attempt some Sungazing this summer whenever I get the chance.

Just make sure you keep with the right intentions, Denise. And if it doesn't feel right, then don't do it.

    Re: Sungazing

Oh I believe my intentions are good. I just have to take my time to adjust to the brightness of the sun. I will post back any of my results on this thread.
