Will Time Travel to the past ever be physically possible?

I need good answers because its my greatest fantasy. Will it ever be possible for a human being to travel back in time? If so how could it possibly be done?

a student at MIT held a conference for time travelers, but i think no one showed up.

Maybe in some virtual world, otherwise I can't see how it could be done. Would be pretty cool though.

theoretically one could bend space/time with a super-massive object such as a black hole. the resulting curvature could create a pathway to the past and would likely destroy all matter which pass' through it. Light and other energy forms also have the ability to bend time/space, and so a powerful laser could have that same effect, however the power needed to produce such a laser is greater than the quantity of energy within our universe, and so a new source must be discovered before such is possible.

I have personally experienced time travel. I did so in several precognitive dreams so know it is possible. What i do not fully understand is the science that allowed consciousness the ability to look forward in time/space and bring back accurate information. More so on later experiences found could alter the outcome of something seen in these dreams suggesting we do not live in predetermination.This suggests to me that we must live in a holographic universe that is an illusion. You can research this or have posted links many times to verified experiments and what the implications are of this idea for reality. When doing this in a dream state was certainly NOT using the total sum power of multi universes - so suspect our science is lacking in understanding of the possability and is a more simple answer available using a quantum effect such as entanglement shows (where a effect can be created backwards in time before cause) In 2007, the journal Science published a paper on particle physics describing an experiment on the subatomic level where quantum rules apply, a researcher found he could influence whether a photon collapsed into wave or particle by flipping a switch after the fact, which I don’t understand well enough to explain adequately. In short, he could change the photon’s history. Back in the age of roman empire could they ever think something like a Nuke would be physically possible, or even people flying in a plane?There are theories out there which suggest possibilities for time travels like black holes and warp holes and all so I belive it would be possible one day. I don't know if it will be possible in the next 100 years might not even be possible for the next 1000 years or longer but I do think one day it will be possible. Weather or not it will be something any average joe can do or not I highly doubt it will be, most likely it will be restricted to the government and people high up, we all know from movies involving time you can seriously screw the time line up.

Off course, I mean were just begging in our discoveries of the unknown. Stephen Hawking's did give a substantial theory that warm holes exist in our plain of existence, these are ripples in time and space. Everything has holes and dents, even things that appear incredibly smooth. According to theory, there are particles called tachyons which travel faster than light.Since it is an established fast that at light speed ,time slows and may even stop, being on the other side of light speed, time in a tachyon universe should flow in reverse of ours. If someone was able to access that the time flow would be going in the opposite direction and lead the traveler into the past.

Since little is known about time, it's hard to say. According to Stephen Hawking, it could be theoretically possible, yet physically impossible to travel forward in time. One theory involves beyond light speed travel. The other involves remaining in the event horizon of a black hole for an extended period of time. it would take billions of years to do.... think, there would have to be another universe for every atom of a second.

Most scientist figure that a time machine is only good to the back date of when it is created.I personally believe that hidden deep in our DNA is the many generations of memory that date back as far as when our human DNA chain was created perhaps billion of years ago.I think this is why some people believe in past life memories. One reason I think this is because in Transplant recipients often take on some tastes, interests, etc of the person who died and donated the organ. For instance let say a person who died in life loved pizza and Rockin; Roll, The heart that was given to a young woman needing a heart transplant to live. suddenly this young woman who never liked pizza or Rockin roll develops those cravings. When meeting the donors family some times the information concurs with the Transplant patient that their separated loved one liked those things. Perhaps if you get a specialist in past life memories via hypnosis to open up the past to you.

Well I'm yet to see any evidence that humans will ever be able to time travel into the past. Where are all the time travelers?Also I think there are too many paradoxes, like the 'grandfather paradox'. What would happen if a time traveler went back and killed one of his or her ancestors before the traveler was born? If the person killed his or her grandfather, then how could that person be alive to go back and kill his or her grandfather? If we could change the past, it would create an infinite number of paradoxes.
