Located on the island Virgin Gorda, the name of this unique beach comes from the pools of water in and around rock formations that flood with warm waters when high tides come in. Over the years, the waves have eroded some of the large boulders and left many caves and grottos to explore, providing for a stunning swimming adventure.

This beautiful place is situated about 2 km south off the maintown Spanish Town at the southern tip of the island between Spring Bay and Devil's Bay. It is a unique geologic formations and one of the BVI's major tourist destinations. The beach shows evidence of the island's volcanic origins, which deposited granite that eroded into piles of boulders on the beach.
