"Dancing With the Stars"

CASPER

THE FRIENDLY GHOST
Is a voting bloc of Sarah Palin supporters enough to give daughter Bristol the mirrorball trophy on "Dancing With the Stars"? Will Jennifer Grey's perfect score and superior dance skills land her the win? And how will voting issues at ABC Monday night affect the outcome?

The network said Tuesday that "a record amount of activity" overloaded its online and telephone voting systems after Monday's show.

"Some viewers reported experiencing difficulties registering their votes for the Dancing with the Stars finale, which affected each finalist equally," ABC said in a statement. "The issue was promptly addressed" and voting times were not extended.

Finalists Grey, Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey performed their last dances for viewer votes on Monday's episode, which count for half of their overall scores toward the title.

Grey comes into Tuesday's season finale in first place. The 50-year-old actress and her professional partner, Derek Hough, earned a perfect score of 60 for their two dances on Monday's show. Massey finished in second place with 56 points, while Palin landed in third with 52 points. All three will perform two dances on Tuesday's show before a new "Dancing" champ is named.

Another useless show. Tell me, what purpose does this show serve? Why are these "stars" any more important than anyone else on the planet?

I'll tell you...DISTRACTION!!!!!! Keep the sheep subdued and don't let them be involved with matters that are more important, that's what. We should be paying attention to the new "laws" that are governments are passing that take our god given rights away, etc. But, alas, here we are watching reality shows about people who are desperate for the spotlight and want to be controlled for the sake of money and fame.

I love this show. I never thought of it as mindless. That's really interesting, your point of view. I'm still going to watch it, but I will try to see it in a whole new light.

Great show! I love reality shows in general. It kinda gives me the sense that I know these people who I now consider my friends. I need to know what's going on with them at all times. I sometimes can't wait for the next show to air. I need to know now.

Some reason people love the see celebrities doing all kinds of things on TV, I'd much rather watch a video that expands my mind and teaches me new things. Rather than just wastes all my time on useless garbage that can be only classified as entertainment. How can you better yourself when all your allowing into your mind is mindless dribble?

It's only entertainment for those who are entertained by it. That is NOT me. I would MUCH rather watch sci-fi shows. At least there, you have some TRUTH embedded in. With shows like this, it's no different to me than shows like Entertainment Tonight which make you follow every step in the lives of ANY and EVERY celebrity.

I'm sorry, but I don't care what's going on in these people's lives, unless they come forward like Charlie Sheen. Mindless dribble is an understatement for these shows in my opinion.
