O.k. Many of you would probably say not to watch too much tv, but my friend and I have been watching this show for years, and long before I found site like this, and tv is one of the few choices of entertainment we have available to us.

First an update on our situation and why I feel all though the situation was different in the show it was what the main character said that prompted me to come to write about it.

Well now the update: my widowed friend has a dr;s appointment both Mon and Tues, of Dec. and now we have no idea how we're going to get thereand she only has one refill left on one of her meds, (sorry unfortunate she's from the old school believes in the chemicals)the one dr's already went along with her cancelling the appointment twice, simply because the person who drives us there didn't show up. Her situation is maybe unique, she fell awhile and it's swayed her confidence, so, she doesn't want to use a walker out to the cab, one of the companies we dealt with complained about where we lived and how they had to take her wheelchair out to the cab, and even said she should move. What is he willing to give us the money to break our lease and move? I wonder. So, we're having a difficult time in replacing someone she trusted, go figure.

Now to the tv show. Grey's Anatomy a couple one with liver disease and needed a transplant kept saying to his partner

Everything happens for a Reason[/B unlikely source for a reminder I know. So, Synchrinisty or someone trying to tell me something. What do you think?

You say "unlikely source for a reminder", but actually, those "signs" and "signals" come from everywhere. Everything is connected on such a level that most people can't comprehend, but some can at least see it. You are seeing it. That message, was meant for you. :) The more you pay attention, the more you see, and in all kinds of places that you never thought.

Evrything happens for a reason. Medications are a tool, not the enemy. The rude cab company needs to be educated about the Americans With Disabilities Act.

Thank you :) It just kind of surprised me coming from a tv show, last place I would've thought of hearing a message like that Though the story line was completely different from our situation like way different, I kind of thought the theme was directed at me, and whoever else has problems. :)

I guess you're right about the pill thing, her former dr, refused to give her any more meds until she got the blood work done, well she had another situation, going on, and she couldn't afford cabs at the time, her own vehicle would've cost too much to get repaired, (still can't) but she's dealing with it a little better, if you call being a month behind on a couple of utility bills better. otherwise, the alternative will be the same thing she's gone through already.

We tried to make a complaint to yellow cab wheelchair ( yes they're listed as a wheelchair service, believe it or not) but they claimed not to know who stood us up that day at the dr's without the cab number. You've got the time and the destination reserved, of course they knew, they just didn't want to be bothered, with a little extra work. I still remember the date and time but don't know who to report this to, suffice it to say no matter the situation my friend will not use them again.

That's a good idea :) will look into it. Someone that's supposed to be transporting people with even minor disabilities like my friend (she can walk and I'm a puny thing 4' 11" and under weight, that wouldn't be and wasn't able to help her up if she fell outside, but after that fall she had that sent her to the hospital she's afraid to the use the walker now, she was using it the night she fell)definately should not be complaining about their fair and the fairs unfortunate living situation.
