NASA Alien Encounter Confirmed

Recently a nearly forgotten audio clip appeared on the web and caught my attention. It's a recording of the radio transmission from space shuttle Discovery, taken in 1989. You heard right - it's 22 years of age! Recorded by a novice radio operator, it appears to explain an encounter by of alien spacecraft. The response in the ground ended up being to tell the astronaut to "switch", i.e. change wavelengths, and absolutely nothing more was heard.
