Dozens of people in the Iranian capital have thrown shoes at cartoon pictures of US President George W Bush.
Their action was in support of Iraqi journalist Muntazer Al-Zaidi, who threw his footwear at the American leader in Baghdad. The journalist is due to go on trial in Iraq, accused of assaulting a foreign head of state.
