Pakistan endorses Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline

WAM Islamabad, Jun 03rd, 2009 (WAM): The government of Pakistan has endorsed the proposed gas pipeline project spanning Iran, Pakistan and India.
Iran and Pakistan had signed the deal on 25th May for laying of the gas pipeline to transfer Iran’s gas to Pakistan and eventually to India.
The project, dubbed as ‘Peace Pipeline’ will run 2700km across Iran, Pakistan and India once it is completed within the next five years.
